How do I start a novel?

Answers

Answer: You start with a idea for a plot, then you work out an outline from there.  Also, develop relatable characters, making sure to give them each a distinct personality. What do they like to do in their free time? Do they have a phrase they use a lot? Avoid making your character seem unflawed. Also, avoid overused tropes,  like dork + popular kid, bad boy meets a girl who changes him, or someone suddenly finding out their the "chosen one". Look up more overused tropes to get the idea. Oh, and avoid the story starting with an alarm going of or the lead character oversleeping.

BRAINLY write about abusive relationships in 75 words or more i will give brainly

Answers

Answer:

Abusive relationships can come in the form of physical or emotional. It can happen to anyone and a lot of the times people stay in them because they think they have no choice or they have been manipulated into thinking it is all they deserve. An abuser will often times track everything you do, such as on social media and where you go as well as when you go there. This is so they have as much control over you as possible. Sometimes they will also not let you have a job so that you have to rely on them for everything you need as well.

Explanation:

here is 106 words, hope this helps :)

Answer:

I don't remember who told me this, but when I was little someone told me that you receive the love you think you deserve. This correlates to abusive relationships because when someone has been put in the position of being abused, they could have got into that place because they thought they deserved it. I think people who have had issue with parents who are abusive are more likely to get into an abusive relationship with a partner because that's what they have always known, and they might project their problems with their parents onto their partners or try to solve the conflict they had with their parents with their partners.

I want to get back to writing my books, but the thing is… I’m kind of stuck in writer’s block. Danganronpa is about a death game, so I need to get back into writing my book for that universe, and ‘His Last Words’ is about depression, being transgender, and two boys falling in love. And I need more memes for the ‘The Everyday Life of the One Braincell Gang’. I want to write more gore and horror books, but this is my school account. If I could, I’d write more stories on that stuff. That’s what I like to write, so it feels weird to have to hide that part of me. I’m pretty good at gore, as I can write pages of a detailed torture session, but it feels strange to not put that in a book. I really like writing books with gore and horror, but I can't do that because this is my school account. Any advice?

and plz, if u have hate keep it to yourself

Answers

Honestly there is nothing wrong with writing about gore and horror!  Many people make a lot of money by doing so,, and it IS what you enjoy doing.  I'm also a huge fan of horror stories and I've been trying to write some myself!  So far Junji Ito,, Danganronpa,, Corpse Party,, and a few others have been my biggest inspirations.  I Believe that you should go through with writing however much you can,, do what you love!  If you can't use your school account start off by writing everything in a notebook.  Go in and plan out each idea you have and go into detail about how you want it done,, so that whenever you're able to actually write them you have a solid idea.  I believe in you!  Don't let anyone change your mind on what you want to write about.

Read the following passage from The Penelopiad:
“No sooner had Odysseus returned than he left again. He said that, much as he hated to tear himself away from me, he’d have to go adventuring again. He’d been told by the spirit of the seer Teiresias that he would have to purify himself by carrying an oar so far inland that the people there would mistake it for a winnowing fan. Only in that way could he rinse the blood of the Suitors from himself, avoid their vengeful ghosts and their vengeful relatives, and pacify the anger of the sea-god Poseidon, who was still furious with him for blinding his son the Cyclops.

It was a likely story. But then, all of his stories were likely.”

From this passage, readers can infer that Penelope feels

A. fearful that Odysseus will not survive his next adventure.
B. unsurprised about Odysseus’s departure.
C. excited to hear of Odysseus’s next adventures.
D. devastated that she does not have more time with Odysseus.

There's also people in need, so you decide to blend your vacation with volunteering. Volunteering as a tourist, or voluntourism, seems like a great way to explore new regions and help people at the same time. However, this "volunteer plus travel" experience can actually harm local communities. While many teens might view traveling and volunteering abroad as a worthwhile adventure, there are more genuine and effective ways to make a difference.[2] Most would agree that volunteering in general is a worthy use of time. However, what if you found out the children you are "helping" are actually being kept in poor conditions so voluntourists will spend money to come to the local area? Dale Rolfe, a supporter of ethical voluntourism, explains the shocking reality that "Animal sanctuaries and orphanages are often manufactured for the voluntourist...encouraging a cycle of exploiting the very animals and children the volunteers are trying to help."[3] Proponents of the "volunteer plus travel" experience also argue that traveling to new places builds character and is a valuable way to learn about different cultures. With voluntourism, however, participants often pursue experiences that are all about them. For example, they sign up to build a school for a gold star on their resume, but they have no real building skills and take jobs away from local construction workers (Schulten). Or, they arrive to teach English but instead take selfies with the locals. One world traveler and ethical voluntourist believes voluntourism "can perpetuate small minded views of the world by taking insulated, fake, and structured experiences and selling them as unabridged and eye opening" (Carlos). The voluntour experience is a mirage. The voluntourist's eyes are not opened to real life at the destination, and lasting change is not achieved.[4] If you want a genuine experience where you can see a lasting impact, there are better options than voluntourism. You can volunteer in your local community. Give an hour every week to your town's animal rescue. Serve monthly dinners to the homeless. Be a reliable, positive influence on a child who needs a mentor. Studies show that volunteering and forming lasting relationships with those you help has a positive impact on your physical and emotional health. In fact, blood pressure is reduced, memory is improved, and rates of depression are reduced (Michaels).[5] There is another reason to look into alternatives to voluntourism. Did you know the average "voluntour" travel package costs $3,400 (Rolfe)? Could that travel money be better spent? If the world's citizens are your passion, it could go to an international organization. If you care about education, your funds can be used to buy books for students in faraway lands. If you want villagers to have clean water, contribute funds to local efforts to dig wells. If you want to experience a different culture, travel to the country as a guest, and learn from the locals how you can best help them after you've returned home. But do not voluntour.[6] In reality, there are better ways to make a difference. Voluntourism might appear to be an adventure that blends travel and helping others, but it does little except provide a costly, superficial experience that might actually do more harm than good. So, volunteer where you are most needed-at home, where you can stay to see the job through and form genuine, lasting relationships. Choose a beautiful coastline closer to home and send the travel money you saved to an international organization that will put it to good use. Whatever you do, don't turn someone else's hardship into your vacation. How does the speaker's metaphor of the mirage in paragraph 4 support the purpose of the speech? It develops the idea that voluntour opportunities are not what they appear to be. It emphasizes the idea that voluntour work is difficult and draining but worth the effort. It reveals the significant contribution that voluntours make to the areas they visit. It shows that voluntourism experiences can even take place anywhere-even in the desert. Thein an essay should contain the essay's topic and viewpoint.
