Hello. You have not shown which text this question refers to, which makes it impossible for it to be answered. However, after searching for your question on the internet, I was able to find another question, exactly the same as yours in the book "Dobey and son." If that's the case for you, I hope the answer below will help you.
Answer:
The role of this image is to make an analogy about how the baby is wrapped like a muffin being put out to bake.
Explanation:
"Dobey and son" is a novel written by Charles Dickens and presents a darker and more reflective story compared to the other stories by the author. In this novel, we get to know a man who feels overwhelmed by not having a child, which causes him to reject the only daughter he has.
The babies within this narrative are highly valued and in the opening paragraph, we are presented with the image of a muffin. At first, the reader may not understand what this image means, but the reader can see that, as reading progresses, the image makes an analogy to how babies are wrapped in a sheet. The baby rolled up resembles a muffin packaged to bake, as we can see in the lines:
"Son lay tucked up warm in a little basket bedstead, carefully disposed on a low settee immediately in front of the fire and close to it, as if his constitution were analogous to that of a muffin, and it was essential to toast him brown while he was very new. "
Read the excerpt from President Woodrow Wilson’s speech, "War Message to Congress." It is a war against all nations. American ships have been sunk, American lives taken, in ways which it has stirred us very deeply to learn of, but the ships and people of other neutral and friendly nations have been sunk and overwhelmed in the waters in the same way. There has been no discrimination. Which emotion is President Wilson most likely trying to evoke in his listeners?
Answer:
Sadness
Explanation:
According to the excerpt from President Woodrow Wilson’s speech, "War Message to Congress.", he talks about the loss of American lives and how ships has been sunk (along with the men aboard her) and the various tragedies facing the country.
Therefore, the emotion that President Wilson is most likely trying to evoke in his listeners is sadness.

Explanation:
Words they say can make or mar you. This in essence packs in a lot and tells us so much about the power in the words we so often speak carelessly without having a preconceived thought of the after effect of that word on us the speaker, the recepient or the people around at the time. Such is the power of the word we speak or issue through writing. Words are so delicate to the extent that a particular thought may need to be passed using some carefully selected words based on the context and environment even when the use of synonymous words would have meant the same. The power of words gives a clear reason why public figures. Political office holders, media personalities always make it a big deal when they communicate, they do so with so much preparation giving great cognizance to waht they are about to spew with their tongue as they know how delicate and powerful spoken words are ; once spewed, it cannot be retracted, it stays in the history books even after those who heard it are no more. Are the authors in disagreement with some other way of thinking? That is to say, is their a "They say" in their "I say"? Who are "they" and what is Mischel disagreeing with? What is he bifurcating from? And what does he discover in his research?
Hello. You did not submit the text to which this question refers, which makes it impossible for it to be answered. However, I will try to help you as best I can.
The only way to answer this question is to read the text it refers to. During this reading, you will be able to identify if the authors disagree, if they present opposite opinions on the same subject. Once you've identified this, you will need to understand what point in this issue they disagree with and why this disagreement is happening. This reason will be exposed in the textual evidence, where the authors will present sentences that justify their opinions, showing why this opinion is correct.
What these authors discover about the research will be presented in the conclusion of the text, in the last paragraph, where the authors can infer about everything that was discussed in the text.

Describe a deserted area. It can be about anything but it just has to be deserted
Thanks.
It was a dark and shadowy night, nothing could be seen for miles ahead. Everything was plain; there were no trees and no houses nearby. The place was entirely deserted. Where had this wandering fellow gone to so late at night? Even he did not know the answer. Perhaps, everything was a sort of limbo, he had died and gone to nowhere.
However, something was off. This place of nowhere had an elegance to it. It was a place of night and a place where shadows roamed in peace. It was majestic, it was a place where ghost haunted and the dead were were at peace with themselves. Buried underneath the ground were bones, he knew that due to the fact that a voice in his head had told him and he was warned not to disturb their peace. This place where he was at had no tombsstones to remember the dead. There were no plants, not weeds growing from the ground, not even tumbleweeds passing by. This place was absolutely void. Where was he? He did not know. But, one thing was certain and that was that he lived.
“Where am I?” He would ask himself. He would pace around the endless acres of nothingness that was filled with shadows and ghosts until he saw a green light. He tried to run after the green light but the more he ran the farther it seemed. Until, he just gave up. Then, he looked around and it seemed to him that he was still in the same place as before, nothing has changed. When he got tired of standing he sat down and cried. “Where am I?” he cried. Yet, there was no one to console him. There was no God nor man or woman, or even animal to be by his side. He was all alone in a secluded place that seemed to have no end. He thought that maybe perhaps it was a haunted place that whoever enters can never go back to their original life. This thought made him feel the temptation to dig a grave for himself, and he did, with his bare hands. When he finished he laid in it and waited and once he found his flesh no longer chubby but instead sucked to the bone he took the pile of dirt that he withdrew from the ground to dig the grave and he… still in the grave began shoving the dirt within the hole he made and he submerged himself within the dirt and due to suffocation, he died.

NEEDED ASAP
This year has been very rewarded to me. Two months ago I started a new experience in life; I met a person from my church, she invited to me to go with her to preach god's word to a bunch of homeless. At the beginning, I was a little scared because homeless people do not have the best reputation in town but at the end I accepted.
That morning my friend picked me up really early, we had to organize the place, take the chairs, set the table, prepare the snacks, test the equipments I mean the microphone and the speakers. When we have all ready, the homeless people started to arrive. I felt a little bit weird. I never thought to be there but it happened.
They started to pray and something happened, I could see God's mercy on the face of those people. They were there enjoying that moment and accepting those beautiful words. After that, I helped to serve food and beverage and I could discover how lucky I am to have a family, food, a place called home and a lot of things.
This experience helped me to understand that I needed a change in my life; I had to be more helpful and avoid worrying for things that they are not worth them. I could see everyone with the same eyes and try to make a difference in people's life.
Life is really hard most of the time and this group from my chuch helped to see my life from different point of view.
From this experience I learned that I could be a better person, and I could help other people, whose they do not have anything in life but they are so happy with a smile, a hug a sweet word or a handshake-
