Pls help me with this
Freedom by Langston Hughes

Freedom will not come
Today, this year
Nor ever
Through compromise and fear.
I have as much right
As the other fellow has
To stand
On my two feet
And own the land.
I tire so of hearing people say,
Let things take their course.
Tomorrow is another day.
I do not need my freedom when I’m dead.
I cannot live on tomorrow’s bread.
Freedom
Is a strong seed
Planted
In a great need.
I live here, too.
I want my freedom
Just as you.

intense darkness of the chamber, hearkened -- know not why, except that an instinctive spirit prompted me
to

Answer:

past tenses fully explained

The past perfect is made from the verb had and the past participle of a verb:

I had finished the work.

She had gone.

The past perfect continuous is made from had been and the -ing form of a verb:

I had been working there for a year.

They had been painting the bedroom.

The past perfect is used in the same way as the present perfect, but it refers to a time in the past, not the present. We use the past perfect:

for something that started in the past and continued up to a given time in the past:

When George died, he and Anne had been married for nearly fifty years.

She didn't want to move. She had lived in Liverpool all her life.

For this use, we often use the past perfect continuous:

She didn't want to move. She had been living in Liverpool all her life.

Everything was wet. It had been raining for hours.

for something that happened several times before a point in the past and continued after that point:

He was a wonderful guitarist. He had been playing ever since he was a teenager.

He had written three books and he was working on another one.

when we are reporting our experience up to a point in the past:

My eighteenth birthday was the worst day I had ever had.

I was pleased to meet George. I hadn’t met him before, even though I had met his wife several times.

for something that happened in the past and is important at a later time in the past:

I couldn't get into the house. I had lost my keys.

Teresa wasn't at home. She had gone shopping.

We often use expressions with for and since with the past perfect:

I was sorry when the factory closed. I had worked there for ten years.

I had been watching that programme every week since it started, but I missed the last episode.

We do not normally use the past perfect continuous with stative verbs. We use the past perfect simple instead:

explain what omri did during his lunch at sch.ool

Answers

Answer:

At lunch, Omri went to the store to acquire an Indian chief solely for the bow and arrows, and then he returned to the handicrafts area to begin building the tepee he had promised Little Bear.

Explanation:

After school, Omri went to the library and found "On the Trail of the Iroquois". He read numerous interesting passages, including one on the Iroquois Indians known as "The Five Nations," which he found particularly interesting. Their adversary was the Algonquin tribe, and the Iroquois received assistance from the English. When the bell rang, Omri walked into the classroom. In the morning, Omri was informed by Patrick that there were more plastic Indian toys available at the Yapps store. So, during lunch, he went to the store to purchase an Indian chief for use with the bow and arrows and then returned to the handicrafts room to finish building the tepee he had promised Little Bear. In the evening, school let out later than usual, so Omri returned home to find his room in disarray, with twigs and grass scattered everywhere, but he did discover Little Bear, who had finished half of the longhouse and was standing next to it. He then placed the Indian chief in a cabinet, opened it, and the chief looked at Omri with astonishment. The chief then succumbed to his panic. It wasn't long before Little Bear arrived to take the headpiece and cloak, and shortly after that, Omri's father sent him to the kitchen to go buy a replacement seed tray for the one he had previously taken.

Giving you more characters to express yourself

By Aliza Rosen and Ikuhiro Ihara

Tuesday, 26 September 2017

Trying to cram your thoughts into a Tweet – we’ve all been there, and it’s a pain.

Interestingly, this isn't a problem everywhere people Tweet. For example, when I (Aliza) Tweet in English, I quickly run into the 140 character limit and have to edit my Tweet down so it fits. Sometimes, I have to remove a word that conveys an important meaning or emotion, or I don’t send my Tweet at all. But when Iku Tweets in Japanese, he doesn’t have the same problem. He finishes sharing his thought and still has room to spare. This is because in languages like Japanese, Korean, and Chinese you can convey about double the amount of information in one character as you can in many other languages, like English, Spanish, Portuguese, or French.

We want every person around the world to easily express themselves on Twitter, so we're doing something new: we're going to try out a longer limit, 280 characters, in languages impacted by cramming (which is all except Japanese, Chinese, and Korean).

Although this is only available to a small group right now, we want to be transparent about why we are excited to try this. Here are some of our findings

Write a paradraph of travelling on anather places.

Answers

Answer:

To travel from one place to another for different purposes is generally called travelling. People do not travel always for the same purposes. Someone travels to gain knowledge and experience, someone travels for pleasure, someone travels for business purposes etc. It has much educative value. It is a part of education. Our education and book knowledge remain imperfect without travelling. We can learn many things from travelling. It teaches us to trade and commerce, language, sociology, customs, culture, history, geography and so on. Therefore, the educative value of travelling beggars description. Besides this, there are some special benefits of travelling. If a man stays in one place for a long time, he becomes monotonous. Travelling removes our monotony and gives pleasure. It also broadens our outlook and refreshes our mind. A good traveller can easily educate others. He can give us first-hand knowledge of men and matters of another country. I like travelling very much.
