Many things can make some people loathe certain brands. These are a few scenarios that could apply.
1. Negative experiences: Some people may have had a bad encounter with a brand, such as getting bad customer service or buying a dud item. These incidents may cause people to loathe or mistrust the brand.
2. Personal values: When a brand goes against a person's personal ideas or values, they may not like it. For instance, a person may decide to separate themselves from a brand if it engages in unethical behavior or back causes they disagree with.
3. Overexposure: People who are constantly exposed to brand advertising may develop brand fatigue, which is the feeling of being sick of seeing or hearing about a specific brand. This may cause a dislike or lack of interest in the brand.
4. Peer influence: Some consumers could not appreciate a brand because their friends or peers have a bad impression of it. Individuals' impressions of brands can be significantly shaped by social influence.
5. Alternative preferences: People might just prefer other brands over a specific one owing to elements like cost, value, or appearance. A hatred for particular brands may result from these inclinations.
It's crucial to remember that this list is not exhaustive, and different people may have different reasons for disliking certain brands.

Dear Lessel,
It is with great not that a write to you again after the menace of the corona virus pandemic. The locdowns, economic downturn and fear that accompanied the pandemic really got me sick and tired of the whole situation. Anyway, I am happy that the nightmare is all over now.
At the peak of the pandemic, our health education teacher arranged an excursion for us. We visited the corona virus isolation unit of the Marymel hospital Aba.
During this excursion, we met several corona virus patients who were displaying different degrees of severity of symptoms. Some people had to use life support machines while others only needed a respirator. There were also patients who displayed only mild symptoms hence they had no need for any of these.
In that excursion, we understood that corona virus is real and we were also taught how to stay safe.
I can't wait to see you again in person after such a long time.
Yours Sincerely,
Jude

Which in-text citation is formatted correctly in MLA style?
Homer writes that Odysseus and his men “were left to groan and wait for morning.” (Homer, 218)
Homer writes “that Odysseus and his men were left to groan and wait for morning” (Homer: 218).
Homer writes that Odysseus and his men “were left to groan and wait for morning” (218).
Homer writes “that Odysseus and his men were left to groan and wait for morning” (218)
Answer:
Homer writes that Odysseus and his men “were left to groan and wait for morning.” (Homer, 218)
Explanation:
The MLA format follows the author-page method of in-text citation, meaning that the author's last name and the page number from which the quotation is taken has to be written in the text, and there has to be a complete reference on the Works Cited page.
The first sentence is wrong because the author's name can appear either in the sentence itself or in parentheses following the quotation, not both.
The second and fourth sentences are wrong because the word "that" should be outside of the quotation because is not part of Homer´s original phrase.

Author's Point of View: Video games can help teens become more social.
Part 2 of the "Social Gaming" Section:
Most teens play video games by themselves some of the time, but gaming is far from being just an independent activity. In a 2008 PEW research study of teenagers ages 12-17 only one quarter of the teens played video games alone all the time.Of the teens who played with others,65 percent reported playing games with people in the same room with them. The other 25 percent played with people through an internet connection, and these other players were mostly people the teens knew.
Which point of view conflicts with the author's point of view about video games in the section "Social Gaming"?
A: Video games should teach teens more about responsibility and cooperation.
B: Video games isolate teenagers from the outside world.
C: Teenagers and play video games are socially awkward.
D: Playing video games is not just an independent activity.
Answer:
C. Teenagers that play video games are socially awkward.
Explanation:
Answer choices A and D agree with the author's points in the passage. Answer choice B is part of the concession the author makes as a writing technique, but answer choice C clearly goes against the message the author is conveying in the passage. The overall point the author is trying to get across is that video games actually make people more social, which is exactly the opposite of answer choice C and therefore they conflict with each other. Thus, C. Teenagers that play video games are socially awkward. is the answer.

Answer:
Envy: People want what others have and bully them for it because they feel bad about themselves
Weight: People tend to give the wrong meaning when saying “you’re so fat” or “you’re so skinny”, this contributes to someone who isn’t fat thinking that they are because we’ve made them feel like they are.
Threats: Even when someone doesn’t have the motive and doesn’t need to do it, there are people that tell others to hurt themselves (you know what I mean), there is no need to do this to innocent people.
