If your blood level is too low Glucagon is released to increase your blood sugar and if it’s too high Insulin is secreted to lower blood sugar; both Insulin and Glucagon are hormones.This being said these two hormones are secreted by the pancreas. Both of these two hormones are examples of negative feedback leading to a stability In homeostasis. It is regulated by the liver, however if homeostasis is disrupted the body will stop functioning properly leaving no insulin to be produced. Therefore the end result is Diabetes
