This, in turn, leads to them joining gangs in their neighborhood where they get involved in gunfights. The level of theft is also high among black young men as they hold the largest position of the race that has been arrested, and that is in prison. It could also be as a result of the lousy culture in the law enforcement unit of stereotyping young black males by senior officers and the habit being picked by the junior officers.
