3. Yes, I think citizens have an obligation to be informed on topics of current interest as much as possible.

Of course, there are other important issues - personal or work-related, for example - that demand our attention, so it is impossible to know a lot about everything. But, if we stay updated on issues, we can better understand the things that affect us, such as inflation, interest rates, tax wars, health issues, etc.
