Based upon what you have learned in this class, write a psychological explanation for
what is going on in this scenario; and suggestions to help Ella improve her life.
Ella is a 25 year old woman, married with two children. Her daughters are ages 1 and
3. She is a university graduate and her partner brings in a good income. Over the
past six months Ella has felt tired, lost weight, and does not seem to find enjoyment
in activities that she usually enjoyed.
Today she awoke, sat on the couch and watched her two daughters play in the living
room for the morning. She changed the diapers of her youngest daughter (Nora) and
sent her oldest daughter (Addy) to the bathroom. After feeding them lunch, she
looked out the window. She watched as an older man fell on the side-walk, and
struggled for 10 minutes to get back on his feet. Eventually Ella lay down on the
couch and fell asleep for the afternoon.
She awoke in time to make her children dinner. After feeding them and putting them
to bed she had two glasses of wine while watching a movie. She felt tipsy, since she
had not eaten anything all day. Feeling exhausted, at 9 pm she went to bed for the
night.

Can you read my respond to see if I have accurately answered the question. If I didn’t feel free to write up your own. The assignment is to briefly describe the physiological process of how the cardiovascular and respiratory system work together.

The cardiovascular system (specifically the circulatory system) works with the respiratory system to get oxygen to the tissues, cells, and organs. Once you inhaled oxygen and it made it to the lungs, the blood capillaries, and to the alveoli for the gas exchange. Finally the CO2 is then able to be exhaled and the blood is oxygen filled. The process of circulation and the two systems working together begins with the heart. In the heart, the right ventricle and atrium are where blood is received from the veins. Deoxygenated blood flows into the right atrium. When the heart muscle relaxes, the blood is emptied from the atrium and into the right ventricle. The right ventricle then pushes the blood through the pulmonary valve and into the pulmonary artery, where the blood is delivered to the lungs to be replenished with oxygen. The blood is then returned to the left side of the heart. Since the right side, the left atrium
receives the blood sending it to the ventricle when the heart muscle relaxes. Finally, the blood is pushed to the aorta and delivered to the rest of your body.
