Mixolydian
Lydian
Answer:
Mixolydian I think is this right
In "Jupiter, Bring of the Jollity," composer Gustav Holst makes use of the mode known as Mixolydian. Option C is the correct answer.
The Mixolydian mode is a musical scale that has a major tonality but with a lowered seventh scale degree. It is characterized by its distinctive sound, often described as having a "folk" or "medieval" quality. This mode is commonly associated with a sense of strength, heroism, and triumph. Option C is the correct answer.
In "Jupiter, Bring of the Jollity," Holst incorporates the Mixolydian mode to evoke a sense of grandeur and power. This composition is part of a larger orchestral suite called "The Planets," where each movement represents a different planet in the solar system. Holst uses the Mixolydian mode in this particular movement to capture the majestic and triumphant character associated with the planet Jupiter.

Answer: How did the teen idol phenomenon of the 1990s mirror that of the 1960s, and how did it differ?
Explanation: The Beatles were huge teen idols in the 1960s, as was Elvis Presley in the 1950s. In the 1940s, females screamed for Sinatra. Even those teen idols who did not successfully make a transition as their fans matured continue to be regarded with affection. To their fans, they represent a special time in their lives. As long as there are teenagers, there will be teen idols. From the vintage "Frankie" Sinatra to Elvis Presley, from the Beatles to David Cassidy, from the New Kids on the Block to 'N Sync, the names and faces may change with the decades, but the emotions that drive the phenomenon do not."Teen idols" were by no means a phenomenon that began with the rock & roll era; bobbysoxers had been pining to the sound of mainstream pop crooners for a good decade or more before Elvis hit the scene.

What element of music was represented by Europe's first system of musical
notation?
A. Exact rhythm
B. Exact pitch
C. Melodic shapes
D. Meter
SUBMIT
The exact pitch element of music was represented by Europe's first system of musical notation. The correct option is B.
What is the first known musical notation? The first example of musical notation is recorded on a cuneiform tablet that was produced at Nippur, in Babylonia (modern-day Iraq), around 1400 BCE. The music was constructed utilizing harmonies of thirds, and it was written using a diatonic scale, according to the tablet, which also serves as a representation of shards of performance directions.
Exact pitch was expressed via the first musical notation system to be created in Europe, which dates back to the ninth century. The general contour of the melody and the spaces between the notes were indicated using this system, known as neumatic notation, which used small dots and lines put above the text of a chant. This technique gave a mechanism to retain and convey the melodies of chants and other holy music in written form, allowing for more accuracy and consistency in performance, even though it did not show precise rhythm or meter.
Thus, the ideal selection is option B.

What elements has Piet Mondrian used? (Color, shapes, lines, contrast)
Answer:
Pieter Cornelis Mondriaan (Dutch: [ˈpitər kɔrˈneːlɪs ˈmɔndrijaːn]), after 1906 Piet Mondrian (/piːt ˈmɒndriɑːn/,[1][2] also US: /- ˈmɔːn-/,[3][4] Dutch: [pit ˈmɔndrijɑn]; 7 March 1872 – 1 February 1944), was a Dutch painter and art theoretician who is regarded as one of the greatest artists of the 20th century.[5][6] He is known for being one of the pioneers of 20th-century abstract art, as he changed his artistic direction from figurative painting to an increasingly abstract style, until he reached a point where his artistic vocabulary was reduced to simple geometric elements.[7]Mondrian's art was highly utopian and was concerned with a search for universal values and aesthetics.[8] He proclaimed in 1914: "Art is higher than reality and has no direct relation to reality. To approach the spiritual in art, one will make as little use as possible of reality, because reality is opposed to the spiritual. We find ourselves in the presence of an abstract art. Art should be above reality, otherwise it would have no value for man."[9] His art, however, always remained rooted in nature.
He was a contributor to the De Stijl art movement and group, which he co-founded with Theo van Doesburg. He evolved a non-representational form which he termed Neoplasticism. This was the new 'pure plastic art' which he believed was necessary in order to create 'universal beauty'. To express this, Mondrian eventually decided to limit his formal vocabulary to the three primary colors (red, blue and yellow), the three primary values (black, white and gray) and the two primary directions (horizontal and vertical).[10] Mondrian's arrival in Paris from the Netherlands in 1911 marked the beginning of a period of profound change. He encountered experiments in Cubism and with the intent of integrating himself within the Parisian avant-garde removed an 'a' from the Dutch spelling of his name (Mondrian).[11][12]
Mondrian's work had an enormous influence on 20th century art, influencing not only the course of abstract painting and numerous major styles and art movements (e.g. Color Field painting, Abstract Expressionism and Minimalism), but also fields outside the domain of painting, such as design, architecture and fashion.[13] Design historian Stephen Bayley said: "Mondrian has come to mean Modernism. His name and his work sum up the High Modernist ideal. I don't like the word 'iconic', so let's say that he's become totemic – a totem for everything Modernism set out to be."[13]
